MessApp uses standard SSL/TLS encryption for communication with users.
Cookies are only used for logged in users, with the exception of the default PHP session cookie. Cookies are used to automatically log in a user on their device.
Information explicitly provided by users such as personal details, email addresses, comments and votes will be saved on the Mess Database. Passwords are encrypted before being saved to ensure the security of a user's accounts.
Information about user hashtag usage, user actions and their frequencies on different sites and topics, numbers and/or ratios of votes by users, and similar statistical information may be saved by MessApp.
Information of a user's actions outside of the MessApp interface (that is, the MessApp website and the MessApp browser extension), such as loading other websites, interactions on other websites and statistical information based on user web surfing patterns will not be recorded or stored in any way.
Good practice is followed in the implementation of source code of all MessApp components to prevent cyber attacks and user information leakage.
